Herd Sires

Our “newest” Miniature stallion…
Michigan’s Hart Breaker

A liver chestnut with blaze and white legs. Hart Breaker’s Dam is Michigan’s Heart Throb(HOF). Heart Throb was under Congress Grand Champion in 1982 and 1983. Her last offspring, Michigan’s My Aching Heart, was the Under World Grand Champion at 2007 World Show. Hart Breaker was shown as a modern and was Congress Grand Champion Stallion in 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995 and 1996. The only pony to win 7 Grand Championships in Hand. He has sired these 9 Congress Grand Champions — Michigan’s Zoro 1997; Michigan’s Wild Horse 1999, 2001, 2002 2003; Michigan’s Chief White Cloud 2001; Michigan’s Soaring Eagle 2002, 2003 and 2004; Michigan’s Golden Eagle 2007; Michigan’s Winning Style 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001; Michigan’s Christmas Stocking 2004; Michigan’s Prim and Trim 2002, 2003 and 2004; Michigan’s Prim and Slim 2005. We have hardshipped a few daughters into AMHR and in 2008 have about 8 AMHR mares in foal to him. He puts lots of neck and lots of motion on his foals. No other pony in ASP history has done as much in the ring or has produced as many moderns that have won. He also was a great harness pony.

HP Jericho’s New Image 144070 ASPC/86398B AMHR
Homozygous black pinto. HP Jericho’s New Image (barn name Timmy) was never shown. But when crossed on Michigan mares has produced winners, especially in AMHR or in ASPC Foundation division. His offsprings that have been AMHR National Grand Champions are Michigan’s Golden Shilling 1999 and 2001; Michigan’s Kiss of Hershey 2003; Michigan’s Yankee Clipper 2006; Michigan’s Heir of the Throne 2006 and 2007; Michigan’s Queen’s Mom. In the Shetland division his Congress Grand Champion get include Michigan’s Hight Note (Foundation Mare 2001) and Classic division 2003 and 2004; Michigan’s Fortune Cookie 2007 Foundation Driving; his offsprings other winnings are too numerous to list. Timmy’s offsprings are all pinto, most have very square bodies with a real nice topline and also good rear legs and croup. Their necks may not be extreme as Hart Breaker’s, but come off the shoulders real nice.

Michigan’s Instant Replay 138402 ASPC/75149B AMHR
Grey with 2 whites behind and blaze. Replay is a Midget Mike colt, Mike was a very small Shetland like 41″ or 38″at last hair. He was shown a lot in the late 1950’s and won championships; was Pony of the Year once; Shirley Taylor drove him single and in pairs. Replay’s dam is Michigan’s Silver Momma. She was out of a Mike granddaughter by Michigan’s Aquanaut. Replay was not shown much; just some as a classic futurity pony. He is most famous offsprings are shown in AMHR division and include — Michigan’s Little Sharp Image AMHR National Grand Champion 2007; Michigan’s Sharp as a Tack AMHR 2007 National Grand Champion Park Horse; Michigan’s King’s Mom 2000 AMHR National Grand Champion Mare; Michigan’s Silver Streak 2007 3 year old Futurity Champion in 2007; Michigan’s Silver Desperato, a son that won in harness a lot of times. Replay’s foals have very small ears, nice head and have nice temperaments. I have 3 daughers in my herd and there are lots out there producing good colts for others. There are not many Mike sons left, so this bloodline will soon be gone.

Michigan’s Wild Horse 146432 ASPC

Michigan’s King Pin 136029 ASPC

Michigan’s Delaware Dan 151081 ASPC
Dan is a sorrel pinto ASPC 44” herd sire. His dam is Michigan’s Half Breed perhaps the best producer of Michigan ponies I have. She was a bay pinto. His sire, Michigan’s Hart Breaker, is our ASPC/AMHR older herd sire. Dan was not shown a lot. His first colts were born last year and include Michigan’s Nashville Bound that showed real well as a modern pleasure and sold in our 2007 Sale going to Washington. Also Michigan’s Jo Lene was shown as a Classic last year for the McCreedys. Michigan’s Upscale Note also sold in our 2007 Sale. She drew a lot of intrest in the time leading up to the Sale. In this years sale he sired Michigan’s Win Advisory, Michigan’s Me Le Aloha, Michigan’s Crystal Lite, and Michigan’s Sweet Baby Jane. He has crossed real well with our Red Rock line of mares.
Michigan’s Man of Steel 148373 ASPC
Michigan’s Man of Steel was foaled in 2000, sired by H.P. Jericho’s New Image and out of Michigan’s Silver Penny. Steel is double registered ASPC/AMHR and is a 38” grey pinto. He combines the genetics of my Michigan Midget Mike grey line from his dam with our black pinto line from his sire. His dam, Silver Penny, won her HOF showing as a classic but also was National Grand Champion Over Mare at AMHR Mini Nationals in 1993. Steel was shown and won is Hall of Fame. Buckeye WCF farms owned Steel and had some nice ASPC/AMHR ponies. Buckeye WCF Be Steel My Heart did a lot of winning in the Classic division. I have had only two crops of foals by him but have a high percent were shown and include; Michigan’s Nestles Quick owned by Kay Marschell and showned by Pick Pocket Farm. Michigan’s White Lightning was shown at Mini Nationals in 2007. Michigan’s Mr. Right was the Stallion Foal Champion at Mini Nationals in 2007. Michigan’s The King also did real well, showing for Ray Zoercher and Martha Hickman of Texas at 2007 Nationals and check out Lot 2 in the Sale Michigan’s Mary Magdalene.
